  In this first report, a 74-year-old patient developed an isolated temporal-lobe metastasis 18 months after curative surgery for sigmoid colon adenocarcinoma. Hybrid 18F-FDG PET/CT proved essential in ruling out extracranial disease and guiding an aggressive combination of surgery and stereotactic radiosurgery, resulting in a one-year disease-free follow-up.
• FDG-Avid Non-Ossifying Fibromas Mimicking Metastases in Pediatric Ewing Sarcoma: A Diagnostic Pitfall on PET/CT
